Remember when you didn’t feel pain?
Eliminate: Back Pain – Shoulder Pain – Neck Pain – Sciatica
According to the Wellness Institute of America, the most common causes of lower back pain are:
- Irritated large nerves in the lower back that extent to the arms and legs
- Irritated small nerves in the spine
- Strained lower back muscles (erector spinae)
- Damaged ligaments, joints or bones
- Damaged intervertebral disc
What is not explained is how these nerves and ligaments are irritated or damaged. Of course injury is the case in some instances, but often the cause is a mystery, without an incident to point to. Also, we should recover fully from most injuries. Usually the culprit is the way we use our bodies. Our habits in movement and posture are always with us, and have a profound impact on how well our bodies work and feel.
When you learn how to stop tightening throughout your body (habits you might not even be aware of), you will restore the ease you should have, and relieve your pain. Fortunately, the solution is within you. You just need to learn how to stop interfering. Imagine feeling ease all along your back, neck and shoulders, no matter what you are doing — working at the computer, swinging a golf club, lifting weights, carrying a baby.
And imagine that at the end of the day, you felt… great!
